Rachel Galley, 26, graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2004 with a First Class Honours Degree in Jewellery Design and has since worked for some of the most prestigious brands in the luxury market such as Links Of London, Stephen Webster and Boodles, before setting up her own business two years ago. Unique designs have been created for the singer Lily Allen and actress/singer Juliette Lewis, as well as being worn by TV presenters, musicians and models.
Designs by Rachel Galley are stylish, interactive and fun to wear, often containing a mystery within, making them unique and individual to the wearer. Her “Collections” celebrate a special time and make an original gift or keepsake for both giver and receiver. Rachel draws her inspiration from intricate carved wood, bronze historic treasures, natural textures and objects found in our daily lives. Her collections are unique. She adds her own innovative twist with hidden compartments or containers, enabling the wearer to interact with their jewellery and adds bespoke, handmade fittings and clasps to give each piece her own signature finish.

Onyx Teardrop is a dramatic and fashionable collection of Onyx buds set into Rachel’s signature lattice texture and inspired by the mythological story of Adonis and Aphrodite. Upon learning of Adonis’ death, Aphrodite shed as many tears as the drops of blood that fell from Adonis’ body and a rose bush grew from each of her tears. The bud shaped onyx drop not only represents the rose bud but also Aphrodites’ tears.

Rachel’s current collections are Memento Globe which features her signature lattice spheres and contemporary lockets which can be personalised by adding special keepsakes year on year or choosing birth or anniversary stones to be held within.
